Buy a Fujifilm X100V, Trust Me.
If you’ve ever searched around in the travel and street photography world, there’s no doubt you’ve heard about the Fujifilm X100V, and if you haven’t, then you should get one.
This is a camera, that undoubtedly is more of a love letter to photography, than my $3,000 Canon camera with interchangeable lenses.
It brings so much life and character to every photo you take, replicating any film stock you like , unlike on an R5, you’ll find so much joy shooting in JPEGs only.
With a fixed lens and optical viewfinder, you get so much more involved when taking a picture. You’re constantly stepping closer or away from your subject, rather than mindlessly twisting and zooming.
Being so small, it’s impossible to leave behind, I personally love taking it with me on sets to capture moments while I’m filming on my cinema camera, rather than bringing a big mirrorless around,
like me you’ll love taking it everywhere and capturing every photo with it.
and when you’re in love with that wonderful process, you’ll create wonderful things.
That’s what matters.
