Using the iPhone 14 Pro to Shoot a Cinematic Short Film

Mid September earlier this year, I had the opportunity to put Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro to the test. The new triple array camera system, with the ability to shoot ProRes and Cinematic Mode at 4K offers a significant amount of opportunity to create great stories from various perspectives. All from the phone you carry everyday.

During that time I shot this short film, inspired by some old footage taken from an ABC retro focus clip in 1973, where Arthur C Clarke talked about a interestingly accurate depiction of the future of personal computing. That in addition, to showcasing the wonderful landscapes of inner city Melbourne and outer city country Victoria.
